Why is erythritol an ingredient in Splenda® Stevia Sweetener?

Since stevia is over 200-350 times sweeter than sugar, only a small amount of Stevia is needed to produce the sweetness of sugar. Erythritol provides volume and texture, making Splenda Stevia easier to use.
