What is SPLENDA® Naturals Stevia Sweetener, Packets and Jar?
SPLENDA® Naturals Stevia Sweetener, Packets and Jar are great-tasting, no-calorie natural sweeteners made with stevia extract – but not just any stevia extract: SPLENDA® Naturals Stevia gets its unique sweetness from Reb D, one of the tastiest extracts from the stevia leaf. (We believe the “D” stands for delicious!)
Until now, you may have only tasted sweeteners with a stevia extract called Reb A, which can have a bitter aftertaste. By using a stevia extract that’s rich in Reb D, we have truly unlocked the naturally sweet taste of stevia. It’s how the SPLENDA® Brand does stevia!
SPLENDA® Naturals Stevia is made with two non-GMO ingredients: stevia leaf extract and erythritol. Dried stevia leaves are steeped in hot water to extract glycosides: the sweet-tasting parts of the leaf. The water is then filtered, so the remaining material can be isolated and purified. The process and processing aids produce a crystalized sweet extract of the leaf. Please see FAQs for more information.

What is SPLENDA® Naturals Stevia Sweetener, Granulated?
The Granulated product is a convenient form of SPLENDA® Naturals Stevia Sweetener that can be used to sweeten cup for cup like sugar. It has no calories, no added flavors, no added colors, no artificial ingredients and no bitter aftertaste. SPLENDA® Naturals Stevia Sweetener, Granulated is made from two non-GMO ingredients: stevia leaf extract and organic tapioca maltodextrin. Stevia leaves are steeped in hot water to extract the sweetest parts of the leaf and then undergo a process to separate, filter and purify the extract. Tapioca Maltodextrin starts with organic tapioca cassava, which undergoes an enzymatic process to become organic maltodextrin.
