Homemade Chai

Fancy cup of tea? You’ll want to try our homemade chai tea. It’s simply sweet and savory. Just steep black tea in hot water with spices, milk, and Splenda Stevia Zero Calorie Sweetener. It’s warm aromatic taste is wonderful.

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine ginger, Splenda Stevia Sweetener, peppercorns, cloves, cardamom pods, cinnamon stick, and water.
  2. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover, and simmer 10 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat; add tea bags, cover and let steep 5 minutes.
  4. Remove tea bags and strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove spices.
  5. Return liquid to saucepan; add milk and warm over medium-low until thoroughly heated. Do not boil.
