1 1/2 pounds flank steak, sliced very thin against the grain of the meat.
1/4 cup SPLENDA® Sugar Blend
1/4 cup lime juice, fresh
2 tablespoons whole allspice
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, diced
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
1/2 cup natural unsweetened peanut butter
2 tablespoons SPLENDA® Sugar Blend
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon sriracha sauce
In a medium saucepot, mix together all of the marinade ingredients.
Bring marinade to a simmer then allow to cool.
Pour marinade over the sliced steak, cover and refrigerate for 6-8 hours or overnight.
Soak the wooden skewers in water for 15 minutes.
Remove steak from marinade and discard any remaining whole allspice berries.
Skewer the steak pieces lengthwise and place on a sheet tray.
Broil for 5 minutes or to preferred doneness.
Sauté onion, garlic and ginger in olive oil until soft and fragrant, about 5 minutes.
Add the rest of the ingredients and bring to a simmer.
Blend with an immersion blender or food processor until smooth.
Serve with beef satay skewers.
