Instructions

  1. Pour sweetened condensed milk in the bottom of a mug.
  2. Place the body of the Vietnamese coffee filter on top of the mug. Remove lid and filter disk. Add coffee grounds.
  3. Pour 3 tablespoons of boiling water over the coffee (this allows the grounds to “bloom” and expand before adding the rest of the water). Wait 5 seconds. Then place filter disk over the coffee grounds, gently pressing it down, and add the rest of the water (depending on the size of filter, all the water may not fit in at once; continue to refill until the desired amount of water is used).
  4. When the coffee stops dripping, remove Vietnamese coffee filter. Stir to incorporate the sweetened condensed milk and allow 10 minutes to cool.
  5. Pour over a glass of ice for a delicious coffee!

Note

  • If you don’t have Vietnamese coffee, try it with another dark roast coffee using a French press or drip coffee.
