Ginger Basil Grapefruit Mimosa Mocktail

Instructions

To make the Ginger Basil Simple Syrup:

  1. In a small saucepan, combine water and Splenda Stevia Sweetener over medium heat until sweetener is dissolved, about 2 minutes.
  2. Add ginger slices and basil leaves; steep for 20–25 minutes. Strain and discard the ginger and basil.
  3. Transfer syrup to a container; cover and chill for several hours. (Remaining syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for several days.)

To make the drink:

  1. Fill a glass halfway with ice, add grapefruit juice, seltzer water, and simple syrup; stir well.
  2. Garnish with the grapefruit segment, ginger slice, and fresh basil.
